Text messages on SIM card

Hi,

i'm looking for a way to

1. delete some old text messages from my SIM card

2. always store text messages on the phone rather than on the SIM card.

Couldn't find anything on these issues, hints / advice much appreciated.

The device stores messages by default.

To see messages on your SIM,go to messages-settings(3 dots)-SIM messages.

I know I can read text messages on the SIM card, but my question was how to delete them.

I do not have messages saved on SIM,but can't you tap longer on one of them and delete?
