Sudden battery drain

So, having done a repair with PC Companion (in an unsuccessful attempt to solve my camera problem) and left the phone inside the house (no Facebook running or anything else) my new Z3+ went from 95% charge to 0% in just over 3 hours.  Its now recharging - very slowly.  Having had a look round the support forum I see that I'm not alone in having battery problems like this.  Is there some fix for this or is it a case of sending the phone back and getting a replacement?

I charged my phone to 100%
I have not used it at all, maybe only two phone calls, phone was on stand-by mode for 5 hours under STAMINA mode, battery went down to 85% percent from only two calls!!! What is this!!!??
