sound enhancement crashing

I have got xpeia u, I open walkman, then settings and when I open sound enhancements it crashes. It was workig propertly, but it stopped working. The phone has android 4.0.4 but sound enhancements was working after the update, but now it crashes. How can I fix the problem? Should I format the phone?

First,try settings-apps-all-sound enhancements,force stop and clear data.Restart.

If the above does not help,perform the repair.
