Sony Z2 Tablet & PC Companion

Hi Guys

i have a Sony Z2 tablet SGP511 running android 4.4.2 i am having issues connecting wirelesly to my PC i have paired it with my laptop and all software is upto date its on the same network but when i co into connectivity>USB conectivity i can see my laptop in wireless media transfer section but when i click on it to connect it will not connect any ideas why.

i have run the pairing process twice rebooted tablet but to joy

Have you ran the connectivity process via PC Companion on your Pc

yes i have run that by clicking on the how to connect and followed the step by step guide, i have paired it fine then when i go to USB connectivity on the phone i can see my laptop but when i click on it and click connet it just times out and then says not connected

That sounds strange as in you can pair but it won't connect - Have you tried a reboot of your router, Pc and phone - Apart from that it's a case of deleting those settings and trying again

yeah ive done all that rebooted phone laptop router still no joy uninstalled software still no joy cant work it out ?

Got me puzzled also - The only thing I can think of would be your AV blocking the phoes IP or Mac address
