Sony Xperia Z2 background scrolling

Good Morning,
I brought a Xperia Z2 Yesturday and when I went to put a background on It zoomed into my picture and I couldn't zoom out it also asked me to crop the picture when I did it look stupid, and when you scroll across the picture moves with the scroll, is there anyway I can have a static background so it doesn't move when I swipe between screens?
I remember my s5 had a option to do this and so did my S4 but can't find it on the menu on the sony to turn of wallpaper scrolling,
Anybody else have this problem or does anybody know a fix?
Any help would be much appreciated,

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

It's not possible to avoid this with our launcher (home screen application) but it's possible with a 3:rd party launcher such as Nova Launcher.

Will this be retified in a later upgrade or does the third party software look exactly the same as the Sony one as i like the default launcher?

I don't know if this is something that will be added to our launcher in the future or not.
Nova Laucher doesn't look exactly like our launcher.

I don't think it's a problem to solve - thing. It's how Sony UI is built... I also used 3-rd party app to make my wallpaper still background on Xperia T (was built in +5000 hd wallpapers or some app like that), 5 updates and the wall was still moving using gallery app. 
A 3-rd party app should do the job just fine.

There is a 3rd party app HD wallpapers for xperia from safrnov evgeniy where there is an option to set the wallpaper static within the sony laucher. But i can not use my own pictures and i will not change the whole GUI. Are there any other 3rd parties with this option.

I know there is a topic about scrolling background image, but i want to ask if it possible to add this feature to the sony launcher because most phones has this feature. Is it possible to make request to add this feature?

Alternatively, you can set the 'live wallpaper' as photo slideshow, and just add one photo to the slideshow.
Results in a fixed wallpaper of that picture 🙂

If you open the picture you want to make your wallpaper in the album, select "use as" in the options, then select "Wallpaper".Now you will be asked to "complete action using" , select Crop(with the orange colored album icon). Now crop the picture, and it must be set as the static wallpaper. Worked for me.
