Hi im an xperia ZL user and to put the story short.
I purchased an xperia ZL 2 weeks ago. The screen suddenly went off while i was using it and now the phone wont go on at all. Took it to my local service center. and they said the phone needed to be handed in for '2 weeks (Minimum) up to a couple of months depending on stock of spareparts and damage!' (Sony rep actually said that)
I havent had to take any phone to a service center for like forever thus was quite taken a back by the amount of time needed.
So my question is, how long does sony's after sales service take to fix your phone in your region? Is this a normal time frame for phones being fixed? I live in southeast asia btw.
Just wondering because one of sony's competitors in my region take cell phones for a minimum of 3 days. (3 days and 2 weeks, is quite a difference)
