SD card not detected

my LT15a doesn't detect the SD card. I tried the card in a different phone and it gets detected so the problem is in the phone. What's the solution?

Is it a new card?Have you transferred large files to it and unsafely unmounted?

no, it's not a new card and I tried formatting it which didn't help It's 16 GB and no heavy files

I downloaded the program but my PC won't recognize my phone and tells me to put in an SD card....

Don't you have a card reader?I do not think you will be able to low level format it otherwise.

I did the low level formatting and the phone still doesn't detect the SD card. The card works in a different phone so I guess the problem is not the card. What next?

Get another card,as I have told you,compatibility makes everything.
