Screen won't light up during calls Z3 Compact

Sometime the screen on my Z3 compact does not light up during calls so I cannot end a call or use the keypad.

Can anyone help?

Normally,if you keep the device (proximity sensor to be precise) close to your ear,the screen shouldn't light up. If this occurs after you take it from your ear, maybe you have something covering the sensor,like a screen protector or case.
