Boot the phone in safe mode, see if the same occurs:

Hello Alexdon, I have the same problem with my phone (Xperia T2 Ultra Dual), it restarts by itself at least 7-8 times a day. Today, before I thought of ringing up the customer support, I thought to get some help from the Support Forum and landed at this thread. I did what you said (reboot in safe mode) but still the problem is same. Within 5 minutes of getting into safe mode, my phone restarted and got into normal mode. What do you suggest now? As a first time buyer of Sony mobile, I feel hopeless and disappointed (and you can understand why). Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Greets,
Navneet
Did you try to start the phone without SIMs inside?
I have started the phone without the SIMs inside, but the phone continues to restart even now. What should I do now? Is there any way out besides restoring the phone to factory (default) settings? I do not wish to reinstall my apps again. Please help.
Beside a software repair,I have no other suggestion than a visit to a sony service.
Hi, Can you tell me the model name? D5303? And have you tried to check how it will be if without inserting your SD card?
Hi ,
I also experienced the same . Finally it is found that one app '3G/4G/WiFi Maps & Speedtest' was casuing the havoc. So please find the contradictory app and remove it , the problem will be solved.
i was also facing the same problem, only more severe.tried evrything possible.then gave the phone to the service centre.got to know the battery is damaged for unknown reasons.need to be replaced.its just a week old.extremely bad experience with sony including their service.was your problem solved?
Friends, in my case I did everything suggested by different contributors. What finally worked for me was my decision to take the phone to the Sony Service Center where the software of my phone was updated by the engineer. Since that moment, I have absolutely no problem with the phone. I would recommend people having the similar problem to avoid wasting your time in following useless tricks and take your phone to the Sony Service centre.
