Samsung SD 64GB class 10 problems with music transfer

Hello guys.

I am having problems transfering music to my Samsuung 64GB class 10 card and wondered if anyone can help.  The problem is that when I am transfering music via my phone it gets quite high % and then freezes my sd card which also makes me have to hard reset my phone, but when I transfer music with a card reader it works perfectly fine.

I know it works with card reader but does anyone know a solution on why iit wont work through my phone please?

Btw my 32GB Samsung card transfers with no issues on my phone.

How many files and how big are the files you are trying to transfer and do you have any other high requirement app running in the background?

What happens if you change USB connection mode to MSC instead from Settings -> Xperia Connectivity -> USB Connectivity?

Hello and thank for getting back to me.   I am just trying to transfer like nearly 40gig worth of music to my device.

@Rickard : I tried what you said but when I change to MSC it actually disables my sd card but when I unplug my usb cable it enables it.

You cannot transfer more than 2GB at a time on an Android device,it is limited.

Hello alexdon.

I found out that the samsung card I had was a complete fake after looking at some youtube vids.  I actually reported the situation to Samsung and contacted ebay about this.

I did purchase myself a Sony 64GB microSDXC today and that is working exactily how I want it to.

you mean that when I trasnfered 2 GB worth oh music when im trying to transfer 15 gb worth of music, It will just freeze after transferint 2gb??

Yes,it could freeze,I knew that Android had a filesize limit of 2GB.
