I want to experiment the NFC stack on Android because I have a specific NFC tag that I want to control from application side, I have my T3 flash with AOSP KitKat and Lollipop using guide from Sony Developer Site:

* However I found out that on AOSP KitKat the NFC does not work, on phone settings it is greyed out, NFC application also report that my NFC is turned off.
* When I flash Lollipop, my tag cannot be detected but previously when the phone still run Stock ROM build 18.1.A.21 my application can detect my tag.
(a) Is this true that NFC still does not work on AOSP KitKat for Xperia T3?
(b) Can I produce the same Sony Stock ROM based on AOSP?
