Problem with Sony Xperia - India

It's been pathetic 7 months for me. Buying Xperia Z was biggest mistake of my life. I bought Xperia Z as on 1st July 2014. For 3 months it was working fantastically awesome but in Mid Oct -November device has started behaving weird. Overheating, battery drains at a speed of Lamborghini and device getting hanged very often. Hence I choose to replace my device but company has turned down it and only repairing part was done that too after escalating the issue with Support Team. 

Within 2 months of repairing, it started all again and from last 14 days same is lying with Service Center. And as expected there is no contact has been made. I want my device being replaced.

I’ve sent many mails to support team but no reply from their end. It literally **bleep**. I want to escalate this issue with Kazuo Hirai. Can anyone help me out? :smileyrolleyes

This is a user based forum, you will have to contact your local Xperia care, perhaps you could call them instead

That part is already done. Sevice Center people are pathetic as pig. 

Bdw i've received email from Sony.

And i Quote -

"As per our Warranty Terms, we offer 1 year free service to our customers.

We would like to inform you that we have done the necessary service by replacing the required part. The said handset is working fine as per specification.

All the functions and features were checked thoroughly and found to be working normally.

We assure you that our service is reliable. The product maintains originality. Please keep no doubt about continued originality of the product and about reliability of our service.  

We would request you to collect your Xperia Z from our Authorized Service Centre as the same is working fine.

We regret that we are unable to comply with your request to exchange the product".

but as per Warranty terms we have 3 options. 

  1. Repair
  2. Replacement
  3. and Refund of amiount of actual purchase.

My device was updated. 

i don't know what the **bleep** is wrong with Sony. Why they can't replace my device.

They won't replace a device with software problem, this can be fixed by re-installing the latest software and wiping the internal memory. If the problem persists after software repair, you can always return it to the support center and state that the previous repair didn't solve the problem and see if they will replace it this time.
