Problem with incoming and outgoing calls since 5.1.1

Hello,

since updating my Z1c to 5.1.1 I've got problems with calling someone, getting called oder receiving text messages. When I try to call the call ends immediatly with a "beep" sound. Once in a while it is still possible to make a successful call oder receive one. But most of the time it isn't.

I do get notifications from my mailbox about missed calls but most of the time only one notification altough I missed five calls.

I have done a factory reset as suggested by the Sony support page - twice. The second one with deleting all personal data additionally.

What do I have to do to fix this? Thank you very much fpr your help

I'd suggest that you do a PC Companion phone repair, this will do a clean installation of the latest firmware and will also wipe your internal memory. And it's totally different and better than factory reset.

Open PC companion -> Support zone -> Phone/tablet software update -> Repair my phone/tablet (blue link style). Follow the steps given, do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable.

thank you for your reply. I reinstalled the latest firmware via PCC. Now I am able to receive and make calls but inbetween these calls the reception drops to zero once in a while, which seems suspicious as it never happened before the first problems occurred...

Are there any other steps I can make?

The problem returned :-\.  Since today my phone doesn't have reception in unregular intervals. My SIM card should be fine as the problem didn't occur on an other device.

Any ideas?

I experiencing the same problems as well.

After each call my reception bar droped to zero then increase back.

and Also, if i pick up a call while i am using other apps/games, the phone goes restart immediately, should i go for warranty?
