Problem With Chargin

Hi,

I have a problem with charging my Xperia X10. It charges very well until it reaches 100% and then while still plugged in to the charger the battery % just starts going down.

For example: I put it in the charger before I go to sleep, I wake up and see that it's only 91% charged ... So i thought maybe it just stopped at 91% but I'm pretty sure that it had gotten to 100% and then went down (that's what i saw happening in the past few days, it went to 100% and when i looked again after a few minutes, it was around 94%) I think the batter % reduces even faster while plugged in but that's not sure.

Any idea what i should do or how i might be able to fix this problem, if it truly is a problem?

Thanks in advance,

Roy

Hello there, this is actually normal behaviour.  This is an image representing my battery charge from ages ago, but basically it charges to 100 then the charge switches off til it gets to the low 90's and it then charges back  up to 100% again.  This continues all the time the phone is connected to the charger and preserves the battery from overcharging.  If when you unplug the phone its at 90 something just pop it back on charge for another few minutes or so and it will soon be up to 100%.  There is a nice app called Battery Graph free from the market that demonstrates your charge cycle in a visual manner.
