Poor WiiFi signal

I have been using SL for two years with the same Wifi network. For recent days, the signal is droping. My Vaio Laptop shows the same signal strengh, but my SL mobile does not receive that signal strength, from which I was using it for tow years. Kindly anyone give me  a solution.

Could be anything - Hardware starting to fail - Could have been dropped dislodging the antenna cable or it may just need like many things do a complete system reset aka a system repair

What if you boot on safe mode.
