hi!
When I access settings-storage, "Pictures, videos" folder shows it takes up something over 600 MB of space.
Now, the problem is I don't have a single picture or video on my phone that I have taken.
When I click on the folder, it says "there are no items in your collection".
When I connect my phone to PC and access it via Sony PC Companion, there are also no pictures or videos to speak of (or delete, for that matter.)
And yet, I lose over 600 MB of storage for "something". What am I missing? How to delete the phantom 600 MB?
Try settings-storage,tap on clear cache. See how much it will clear up.
Also, using file commander,go to internal storage, search for lost.dir folder. Open it. Are there any files?
Clearing cache does just that, but those 600 MB under Pictures, videos remain intact.
When I access internal storage via file commander, there is no lost.dir folder.
I can see that folder when I access my SD card (which is empty), but that's different from internal storage so it shouldn't matter.
Are there any hidden files or something? I'm at a loss.
This is strange, are there any thumbnails?
