Phone restarting again and again!!! :(

Hi, I have a Sony Xperai U about 9 months old... The phone has been working good lately but had some issues of slowness.. But from last few days has become a havoc....
Whenever i start the phone it just sows the SONy screen and then The Animated Xperia screen and aftr that a  flash and it restarts.... these hapens continuously till the time battery is not been pulled out.... I am unable to do anything...Can anyone please help me with these issue????

At first, try to repair the phone software via PC Companion. Get back to me with the results.

Hello, I have the same problem mohit73 and I tried to update my phone with PC companion but as it only restart it is impossible to connect so I can not do anything (sorry for my english, I am french)

In that case you should send in your phone to a service center so they can take a look at it.

I had the exact same problem as you. It is so so so so frustrating when this happens. Hopefully you have backed up all of your data, because you will not be getting it back. Follow these steps to fix your phone:

1) Go to http://software.sonymobile.com/emma/install_packs/Update_Service_Setup-2.13.8.201307151333.exe to get the Sony Update Service. The download should start automatically.

2) Open the download and the Update Service will install.

3) Make sure the battery is at least 50% full and you have the USB cable for your Xperia U.

4) Accept the license agreement and click 'start'.

5) Choose the Xperia U from the list of devices.

6) Follow the instructions to update your phone.

When you turn the phone back on, it should react as if it has been factory reset. Hopefully this will work for you, it worked for me!!!

Am facing the same issue. My Xperia U restarts over and over again with a some kind of flash.

I am using Xperia lt26i since march 2013.
From the last month, I am facing a problem.
My phone automatically restarts twice a day while using.
last week I went to Sony care and they updated my os.
But still I am facing that problem.
