Phone keeps shutting down & unexpected battery drain

I'm having the same issue, my phone is just 3 days old but it keeps shutting down frequently. When I press the power button it doesn't get turned on, I called customer service who asked me to press power button +volume rocker which turned the phone on. However the main problem still persists -shutdowns frequently. Extremely disappointed with Sony

Charge the phone for an hour or so > repair the phone with PCC 

run PCC > support zone > repair the phone
