Phone doesn't store WiFi Key

My phone keeps on "forgetting" some WPA keys for some of the WiFi spots I use in a daily basis (like friends/family/home wifi).

This is incredibly frustrating, as i have to go and ask for the WiFi details everytime I visit them.

Is there a way to stop this from happening?

Kind Regards,

javi

Hi,

First of all I would suggest that you try to boot your phone into safe mode to see if the problem may be related to any 3rd party app that you have installed in your phone:

If the behavior persists, I would suggest that you try to reset your phone. Go to settings > backup and reset > reset to factory settings.

Before repairing the software in your device you may want to backup your information first. Check out this topic for more information on how to:

When adding your Google account to the phone again. Do not select to backup your data to Google.

Hi,

I have already tried a factory reset, and it hasn't work.

Sending backups to Google is the way I can easily restored from a factory reset. How could that interfere with the WiFi hotspots that i normally use?

cheers,

Javi
