Phone Charging Very Slowly

My xperia z ultra is charging very slowly. Other phone are charging right from the same charger & battery is also running good after chrged. Can u please suggest what to do?

Are you using the phone while charging the phone? are you using a wall charger or a computer to charge it ? do you keep wifi on while charging the phone?

Z ultra has a large battery,you need a powerful adapter to charge it a little faster.

1. When z ultra is on it discharges battery at approximately 500mah. So if your phone screen is on while charging, it charges very slowly.
2. You need to use at least 1500mah charger to charge your phone from 20% to full in 2.5 to 3 hours.
3. I have seen magnetic dock or cable transmit much lower current (around 600mah) even when screen is off. So if you're using magnetic dock or cable you need to use 2100 mah charger.

On the first point, I meant when the screen is on.

@ uliwooly i kept phone aside while charging and it was even shut down. Still the problem persists
