No more quick launch bar after 4.3 update

Hello,

After updating my tablet, the quick launch bar that was on the top left corner of the screen disappeared (Google Search and four shortcut slots). Is there any way to get it back ?

Google can be accessed by swiping bottom to top on the bottom-center of screen ( that's how I can access it, although I rarely use it). The shortcuts you mention are gone, in 4.3 but for me it seems better without them now...

I miss the quick launch buttons too. I had two browser shortcuts defined in quick launch. Any way to make them again in some way?

This feature was useful and mentioned in many of the online reviews. I used it a lot. Why on earth has it gone?

I used a lot of basic functions in that bar... it's very useful...

Is there a way to put it back, or will Sony recover that function?

Had i known, i would not have updated.

I hope that they bring back this feature. It was very useful, and I am very dissapointed right now. I used to access my most used applications very quickly while holding the device with both hands. It was very useful when I was in lying bed holding the tablet in air or walking. Moreover, they only occupied a little part of the display, which was perfect in my opinion.
