NFC only works after a reboot

Hello,

as stated in the subject, NFC only works for a couple of hours after reboot, sometimes for days, sometimes it stops working after an hour, this appears to be random. I need to reboot my phone (soft or hard reboot) for it to start working again. I always make sure the function is enabled when I try to read NFC tags. I suspect this may be an application issue, but I have yet to pinpoint the problem. I am not using any other applications which use NFC, but I had some installed in the past.

Can someone help?

You could try performing a backup of content and then using PC Companion to repair the phones software, this way you would remove any glitches or corruption that may be present while still maintaining your data due to backing up the device.

Backup Instructions

Software repair instructions.

1. Before you start you have to download the PC Companion software from PC Companion
and install it on your PC.
2. Once installed on your PC, double-click the PC Companion icon on your desktop to start the update.
Note! For some models you will be prompted to do a backup prior to the update and then restore.
3. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
4. Phone Software Update.
5. Start.
6. Repair Phone
7. Continue
8. Accept data removal
9. Next
10. Wait for prepare
11. Select Phone
12. Follow the connection steps
