Are you referring to Android 4.4? We are still investigating if Xperia V can be updated to Android 4.4. For the latest information, please see http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/software/phones/xperia-v/ and http://blogs.sonymobile.com/

Well, Rickard, let's be serious... we all know that neither the V nor the T, TX etc will ever get Kitkat.

How long does it take for Sony to investigate? The Freexperia project has already released Android 4.4.3, so we all know it's just a marketing decision and that it will never happen. The Xperia V support page will probably show the "We are investigating" badge forever.

All we need is a STABLE and BUG FREE 4.3. To make things even worse, I have a German V, bought from amazon.de, and I'm still on 4.1.2, because 4.3 has never been released in Germany, and in many other countries. To update, I'd have to void my warranty by flashing the firmware myself.

This is not serious. This is not a behaviour that a company like Sony should have. They officially promised Android 4.3 and many users never got it.

I'm really upset, I've been a faithful SonyEriccson and then Sony user, I've advised many friends to buy a Sony (a big mistake, since they ended up with an xperia U stuck with an unusable ICS), but of course this is going to be my last Sony phone if Sony doesn't react swiftly and solves our problems.

I wonder how they can think they'll increase their market share if they disappoint their loyal users this way.
