Hello,
My Xperia z1 compact has gone crazy and it's driving me mental! It keeps restarting on a loop.
I've had this problem for about 2 weeks now. I tryed every single solution on your support page: updated to the newest android 5.0.2 version, ran a full clean-up (reset) of the device, ran the repair option trough the PC like 100 of times, and I tried running it on safe mode.
The safe mode worked for nearly 5 minutes and then it started restarting literally on a loop like crazy... After the 10th time i just removed the sim card as the phone was getting really hot. And guess what... it kept restarting even without a sim card in. Lesser, may be evry few minutes instead, but still!
What should I do? Can you help? I only had it for a year and it will be a massive loss of money and disapoiment if that's the end of it, as you can imagine I can't even sell it in this condition.
Look forward to your reply!
Kind regards

or take it back to the store.
Mine does this when I unplug the charger and seems to be related to a charging problem that a number of phones seem to be suffering from (see http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-Z2/Lollipop-charging-bug/m-p/986163#M28082 - I know this is in the Z2 forum but it's the same problem I have with my Z1C).
To get mine to boot I can do either of two things:
1) press the small red reset button in that's under the Sim card cover or,
2) Hold down the power button and the volume up key until the phone vibrates 3 times, release the keys and press down the power button, hopefully it'll now boot up.
