My phone is locked in a loop without charging

My phone battery was down and turned off so when I had the occasion I had my phone plugged in a car charger all was going well the sony logo went on and then after the screen light up with just the black screen but at that moment my phone was unplugged and the phone was stuck on the black screen lighting up. So I was thinking letting the battery die and charging up later. The phone finally turned off after few hours and when I plugged in my wall charger the red light came on and at some point the black screen would light up without the sony logo then go off light up at least 4 times then go back to having the red light on then it would go on like that with the black screen on and off without sony logo after few minutes forever in a loop. I let it plugged in like that for a while and the battey is not charging and the phone won't turn on. Please help

I suggest that you try to repair the phone software using PC Companion..
