My phone is DEAD

If any of you recognise my name youll know Ive had glitches with my phone since day one. Finally all went v weird so did a softawre update. backing up and restoring wasnt half as complicated as I feared, and on Saturday Pm I had a wonderful whizzy phone. Perfection. Today I connected it to my work calendar and my home wi fi, my husband sent me a text at which point the phone went DEAD. Not just blank - stone cold. 

When I press the on key, nothing, no red light, no buzz, tried charging it, no light. The handset is cold in a way never before.

Anyway, EE say Ill have to send it off for a month, no replacement phone as they keep getting stolen.

ANYONE KNOW WHY THIS HAS HAPPENNED AND IF I CAN REPAIR THROUGH PCC? I cant be without my phone for a month, I am self employed and work away from home

OMG OMG OMG I saw "recent solutions" in my sidebar and saw this http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-SP/Xperia-SP-screen-won-t-turn-on-sudden-death/m-p/825717 and my phone is back! BACK!.

I used the restart button, ha, my son's going to be annoyed we're not off for free cake at John Lewis tomorrow now.

heres the thing though...Why did it happen??

It could have been some sort of random command that hadn't been processed and was stuck in the memory - It's basically got a little confused and by pressing that button it will clear said random command from the memory - But glad you got it sorted
