My internal storage got messed up

I started installing Asphalt 8 from the Google Play store and when it downloaded my phone gave me the "insufficient storage available" and than I realised that I have only 130 MB free space. The strange thing is that my used memmory+my available memmory doesn't add up to my total space.

What can I do to "reclaim" that storage?

Try settings-apps-all-media storage,force stop and clear data.Restart the device.There might be some data from older apps which remained.

Get a file explorer and look in Android-data for some folders belonging to older apps you might have removed.

I didn't find anything unneeded in the android-data folder but i also checked the android-obb folder, where I found files (one file) from the game, which I failed to install.

Now it should show you the correct info or at least you should have more free memory.
