misc files

Hello my name is Stefan I have Xperia e4 and I want to know whats is misc files?can I delete them?why are they so large,I have 4 gb memory and misc files are 3 gb.

There might be media files or other files not recognized by the media apps from sony.

But can you delete them,i have the exact same problem? Will it damage something?
