Manual shutter speed Lolipop?!

Hi

In stock google lolipop manual camera controls like manual shutter speed is enabled.

But from what i can see, sony has not used that in their variant of lolipop.

Is there a reason for this?

I was gladly looking forward to taking long exposure photographs with lolipop, but it seems i won´t be able to.

Anyone know more about this decision?

I take long exposure pictures using "long exposure camera 2" it's not bad, not ideal but not bad.

Yes but that does not use full resolution, none of them do.

Thats why android 5.0 would fix this, with native support.

But sony has not enabled it.

Considering very few effects or hdr is available at 20.7 mp even if they did offer those controls, I doubt you would get to play with them at above 8mp, but moot point, it's not enabled so...

Thats true. However i would be just fine with manual controls with 8 mp since i never use 20 anyway.

I'd just love the option, I find the stock Sony compression hit and miss with miss being the larger.
