The magnetic charging port in my phone came out with the charger, I sent it back to Sony for repair, and it arrived back today - it looks like a new case has been put on the phone rather than just the port being stuck back, but it now no longer charges using the Sony magnetic charger - is there a setting somewhere to enable it?
I checked the USB cable (which is plugged into the mains) and it charges the phone fine via the usb port, but plug the same cable into the official Sony magnetic charger/phone holder and nothing - this is the same charger and cable that has been charging the phone since last September, I also checked with a third party charger on the same USB cable and that didn't work either. I prefer using the magentic charging as the usb cover is so flimsy I'm afraid of it breaking off.
The phone is running Android 5.0.2 and update says it is up-to-date.
