How to sync local contacts with an account?

When new contact is created there is option either to create it as local (no sync) or as synced on account.

Once there are local contacts created there is no option to sync it with an account.

Does anyone have idea how to do it?

I have quite a few and do not like to retype all.

There must be some easier way.

Local contacts are Device only. There is no sync

The only way to sync contacts is to create a new Google contact

You can link the Google contact and and the local contact together so that there is only one entry in the contacts directory

HI,

Go to contacts to run a contact export, can be store at internal or external memory or where you want it to be.

Once done on exporting the entire contacts, Just select all contacts and delete.

Once all contacts is deleted. Run contacts import and it will prompt and ask where you want those contacts to be created and you just simply select your google account so that your contacts will sync directly to your google account.
