Help YouTube isn't working

I don't know if it the update on youtube or my phone, but YouTube app isn't working working anymore, it use to work but now it only works on the browser. whenever I press the YouTube app it says, An error occurred. please help

After following the advice above I would also advise checking for any updates that may be available for the Youtube application in the Playstore.

i tried the above advice and my youtube isnt working either since the update

It works now idk ehat happend, I use to just u install update and it worked fine
