Facebook Video Playback

I cant watch a whole video on Facebook on my Z2, for some reason it throws out an error. 

Plus within 10min of using the phone it gets really hot. 

I havent tested out the waterproof factor yet as i think i have a dud phone.. 

Any help on the video issue would be great..

This Facebook video problem has annoyed me since I got my sony z2. My HTC android I had before the z2 never had this problem.
Why does it take sony months to still have no clear path forwards for their extremely buggy/disappointing phone?

Same problem here.

I have had my phone for just over a month and they are still working on getting me a working code for the goodies they promised. 

If it is going to take over a month to get a working 12 digit code from them, I can just imagine how long it is going to take to get the facebook video part fixed.

I have installed other apps that run straight from the Facebook mobile site and they work fine so it must be a problem between Sony and the player used by the official Facebook app... But as it doesn't seem Sony are going to fix this I will use the mobile site.... It would be nice if Sony just said 'we are working to resolve this' but they aren't saying anything

Same problem here, videos are fine on every other app apart from Facebook

Has anyone else noticed Snapchat is buggy too? Especially the story feature. When I try to watch a story it jus says snap failed to load

Now I know why sony is slowly losing its name on this industry. Just because they're only up to producing the item, but with a clumsy & an unreliable support. They're not even saying 'hi!' as to what they have been doing to resolve this issues. Sony, you have already lost your name on PC market. Are you letting this to happen on your Mobile???

Re-installing Facebook App seems to solve this issue.

These are the steps I did:

1.> Uninstall Facebook App thru Playstore.

2> Switch off the phone.

3> Switch on the phone.

4> Install Facebook App thru Playstore.

5> After installation, I straight away restarted the phone again.

6> Launch Facebook App then login to your account.

7> Play some video on Facebook.

Same here even in new firmware .438 Facebook videos crash

Reinstalling/clearing data works for a while, then it starts again, you need to reinstall it everytime
