I have a tendency to surf the internet continuoulsy on the T2 Ultra Dual? I might surf/download continuously for 10 hours, during which the Wi-Fi will be turned on. Is it safe to do it? Will the phone heat up too much?
Can I know if it is safe to keep the Wi-Fi switched on continuously for 10 hours and more while using the internet? Will the phone degrade?
You can keep wi-fi on all the time,it does not affect the device in any harmful way.
I usually download a lot of public doman environment related documentaries using utorrents (more into faction than fiction). and I use the utorrent for android to get the job done. Is it OK to continuously torrent for say like 10 hours? Will it degrade the internal memory? Or should I torrent it to the SD card? Do you experts have any insight on this?
There shouldn't be a problem if you use the internal memory most of the time, but I do not have so much info regarding torrent and such.
Thanks Alexdon. Would you know any other place where they can answer my question?
Also, most of the time it is not even torrents, but direct downloads that might take 10-12 hours to complete.
One of my friends also puts the nature photography (still photos and videos) he has taken and natural sounds he has recorded in MP3 format and he puts it all in a folder and uploads it as a torrent file, which I then download it here. This sometimes becomes very voluminous and could take 10-12 hours.
Thanks very much once again!
You could maybe ask on XDA forum about this. The memory won't be damaged by downloads that take much time from what I know.I used to download games from google play which are about 1-2 GB but no worries.
Thanks Alexdon. I will do as you say.
