Hi. I received this phone a few weeks ago... I was using a samsung mini s4 before. One nice feature I miss and that I haven't found on the C3 is the option (of course, available in Samsung) that the display will remain ON, and the brightness at the same level, when the phone detects I am looking at the screen. Samsung uses the face camera for this, and it's really nice when reading long articles from news app, playing games like sudoku/chess, where you keep looking at the screen not touching it for a long while, and so on.
Is this feature available on Sony? I really hate when I am reading an article on a news app, and the screen goes black.
Thanks.
I'm not sure if your phone has it but other Xperias have this
settings > display > smart backlight control
thanks for the hint, but no. this phone hasn't that... There is a new "daydream" option, adaptive, level, and glove mode, but no "smart"
Even after upgrade to lollipop, no smart yet
Is there any way to make this request to Sony? Are they monitoring this forum?
Sony does monitor this forum but you could contact them directly with your suggestions
