cracked back Xperia z2

Hi,

I have an Xperia Z2 for less than a month now, and today when getting it out of my jacket's pocket I saw a crack on the back glass. Now I guess waterproofing is gone.  It must be a manufacturing fault, because I had nothing in my pocket except the phone and I appliend no pressure to the pocket or the phone, did no sports, no running, no smashing, no unusual behaviour.  Why is this expensive phone so **bleep** fragile? Can I still hope it will survive at least a year?  

What do you advise me to do? Is Sony paying for such defect? I am definitely not the first or last person having the same problem (if you look around this forum and others alike). And this does not make me a happy customer. So are we getting it fix in the warranty period or not?

If it's just one crack, then it should be covered under warranty since it happened for no reason whatsoever.

Hey guys. Its been 2 months and the flap covering the micro USB port and sim card slot is very loose. It gets detach every minute. Not happy!

I have the same problem here ,, three weeks ago i noticed a crack on the back . Now unfortunateley , the one cracked developed a whole cracked back giving a cheap bad view to my z2.
I dont know why Sony is starting to use low quality materials to build their new cellphones,, i am afraid they will start loosing their customers , and i am one of them, as i used to buy Sony products for more than 8 years .
