Constant reboot, NFC turning off/on, No Signal/Data

A few hours ago I noticed that I had no signal on my phone (which is strange because I usually have good signal at work), and on closer inspection I could see the NFC symbol appearing/disappearing constantly in quick succession. After a few mins my phone then rebooted itself, and since then its been booting up, the NFC symbol does its flashing on/off for a few mins, then the phone resets again and the cycle continues!

Has anyone else had this? And does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it?

You could try holding power and volume up untill you feel 3 vibrations then reboot and test,

or you could also try performing a system repair as this will often fix issues - This will factory reset your phone

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

I've already tried resetting it a few times (using volume/power combo), but it's resetting itself every 5 mins anyway:/

I really don't want to have to do a factory restore. I've had the phone less than a month and I've only just got everything the way I like it. Is there anything else I can try? I'm starting to regret upgrading to a Sony phone now. I had a HTC for two years and didn't have one issue with it, one month with a Z3 and my phone is constantly rebooting.

The only other thing I can think of is a settings reset but I'm not sure what if any effect this will have with your personnel settings - To try open Settings then Apps and swipe to all - Locate and open Settings then tap on Clear cache and Clear data then reboot and test

I've noticed that if I have the phone charging it doesn't reset itself. It still doesn't have signal/data, and the NFC continues to flick on and off, but it doesn't constantly reboot...

Not sure if that helps anyone diagnose the issue!

I'll try repairing and report back later.

Restoring the phone to factory defaults seems to have fixed it for now. No idea what caused the issue though.
