My xperia Z keeps turning on and off while i am charging it. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem??

are you using custom rom or bootloader?

I have this problem when my bootloader is corrupted and have trouble charging the phone. But this is what i do to recover it. Leave the phone charge for an hour or longer.  yes it will constantly switch on and off, just try to ignore it. the longer the better. in the meantime, download a compatible rom and flashtool. Once everything is ready, pull your phone from your charge, switch it off and flash the rom into your phone. the tricky part here is to get enough charge on your battery so that you can reflash your phone succesfully, and thus repairing any OS issues.

I have the same problem when charging in a DK26 cradle. I have already deleted the "event", but still the display is switching on and off while charging. Note: The cradle is not connected to the original Sony USB charger. It is however connected to a charger with the exact same electrical specifications (volts and amps).

OK, just unplugged the cradle and plugged the charging cable directly into the phone. Still the display keep switching on and off again and again... Tonight I will try using the original Sony USB charger and cable.

Still maybe someone from Sony staff can post his opinion?!?
