Cannot connect to my phone

Keeps running. Does not connect. It says wait a minute then says 'something went wrong'. I've tried on both WiFi and LTE 3G. Nothing works. Downloaded Android Wear and updated ALL my Google and Sony apps

I cannot connect my Smartwatch to my phone Z3. I have downloaded the Android Wear application. I've tried to connect for...going 5 hours now. I've tried most things on the Internet too. It shows its connecting via my phone, then says 'wait a minute'. Then it says, 'something went wrong, try again' i click yes and it does nothing. The message stays. Atswipe for tips' etc point it shows a menu that I can scroll through saying it's not connecting to the Internet 'swipe. I've checked that. Everything is fine there. I've Enabled all the apps. I've re-installed them so many times now . Ive reset the watch... I don't know any more. I've even tried to update the programme via my pc on Sony PC companion. It's keeps saying I can't install the driver.

I'm assuming you are setting it up for the first time. Try doing a reset of the phone (Power button and up key - no data lost) and also of the SW3. remove any paired SW3 from the Bluetooth devices menu on the phone. Ensure the phone has a good internet connection, and that the SW3 has a reasonable level of charge. Make sure the phone is not on the lock screen, and connect the two devices by contact (NFC - is on top of SW3, and your phone manual will say where that is on the Z3. That should initiate a new pairing of the devices, and follow those instructions. After pairing, the SW3 will update over the internet using the phone, so this will take a while (and will take forever if you have a slow phone internet connection).

let us know how you go on

I have the same problem.

My devices: Xperia Z3 Dual & Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact WiFi vs SmartWatch 3 SWR50

No matter what I do I can't pair/connect my tablet & phone with SmartWatch.

The only thing that happens is a continuous attempt to connect without any success.

All software is up to date.

But, my old Nexus 7 connects to watch easily.

Finally managed to connect using NFC. Took 4 tries as I had to leave the watch (removed from the strap) on top of the back of the phone where the nfc icon is. What a story to get that done for a watch that is nice, but there could have been so much more. Also, it drains battery life on your phone (Z3) here quicker. I bought the Z3 for the battery life and now the watch with careful selections of brightness etc, needs changing daily at 7-13 hours
