My 2 Month old Xperia Z1 Ultimate was on the charger yesterday. When I picked it up, the top of the phone, near the camera, was so hot that I knew something was very wrong. When I put it on the charger, the battery was at 50%. When I wne to take it off, it was 1% and hotter than a fire cracker.
Now it is cool and dead. I tried charging it again this morning, charging light comes on but nothing else happens. Still dead after 2 hours of attempted charging.
Just a hunch, but I doubt updates are going to help this one as it is DOA.
I am in Wuhan, China and need to find the nearest Xperia service center in Central China?
Can you please help? Thank you in advance,
Sincerely, Tom
Please do not recomend that I call the Shanghai service center. There is no one there. Ever.
I tried PC companion and received the following error message
"This phone burned up and is screwed!"
This message was received intuitavely.
I really did try it. PCC showed there was no phone, so actually PCC worked correctly.
I have never seen that message, do take a screenshot and post it here
