Sony India seem to have more than one box with different set of components floating around in their dealers all sold at the same MRP. There is a simple box with charger+cable, normal buds, no free movies, nothing else MRP 49,990. Then there's another box with smart band, flip cover also marked at the same price. Even the 'suggested price' is the same. It upto the sales guy to offer discount differentiating between the two and even this can change over days and over shops. Many customers may not bargain hard knowing Sony discourages dealers from giving deep discounts. I see from the internet that sometimes docks and noise cancelling phones are in the box.
Just to say that this kind of confused marketing practice breeds resentment in the Sony customer whose loyalty is usually to the excellent hardware. I hope they enable some semblence of fair treatment at least after sales by offering discount coupons on accessories packaged later for others or free movies for down load etc.
Hope also that a more coherant marketing strategy would be in place for z3.
Please bear in mind that the contents of the box may vary from region to region and network to network as individual networks may strike specific deals to include certain extras as part of their deal where others may not. This is not out of the ordinary and is in fact quite common practice with a number of different electronics you may purchase.

Sorry, I should have mentioned my comments was about marketing strategy in India. Most phones are not locked to networks here. And yet we have a variety of Sony 'deals' which exploit customer's ignorance... Not nice at all.
