BlueTooth | Not able to catch audio except phone calls

Hi, 

I am using Xperia Arc S now...

I have Nokia BH 108 Bluetooth headset. I can hear sound only for calls. But not able to listen any audio like media player, some notification sounds etc etc.

But with the same Blueetooth headset i used to hear the songs  also with my old Nokia E5 mobile.

It seems that the headset of yours doesn't support Bluetooth profile A2DP which our phones uses to stream music and other audio via Bluetooth.

What do you think about this forum? Let us know by doing this short survey

I know exactly what you mean.

I have 2 Nokia bluetooth headsets and I can talk and listen to music with my Nokia device.

BH-215 (mono)

BH-214 ( stereo)

I managed to pair both bluetooth headsets with Arc S.

BH-215 can be used only for talking. When I open the music player, music comes out of the Arc's  loudspeaker. I believe it's similar with your BH 108.

With BH-214, I can listen to music and also talk.

I have no idea why this happens.

The headset i am having is Mono ..Nokia BH 108....May be from Mono headsets we cant hear music...

Listening to music with Nokia BH108 is not possible with the present day smartphones,but android has left space fill that error ....an app called Blueheadsetvoice provides non A2DP devices to stream music through it...:smileysmileywink:
