Bluetooth audio transmission with car is not consistent

Hello, 

my xperia z3 compact gives me problems when i use it with my car.

I have established connection successfuly with my sony car stereo and it stays always connected.

I can recieve and make calls without issues.

However the sound is not played when I use google maps, walkman or internet radio.

When this happens there is no sound and only a bit of noise once in a while.

Sometimes works but then next time i try it stops.

Any suggestions on a quick fix or do i have to take it back to the store?

Have you tried the very basic step - reboot phone?

And check volume on the phone. I thought it doesn't work while it was bluetooth volume at minimum level.

@Sergio, this also happens to me with my XSP-N1BT, but my workaround is pretty quick, I go to App Remote and select Walkman again and then map this way the sound goes back to my music... This is the way it's always been maybe even with my old Acro S...

When I restart the phone, the first time it always connects immediatelly. If I leave my car and then come back it doen't work.

I did try the App Remote, nice app for the car by the way. It didn't work with me i'm afraid. It worked the first time so I was happy, but then it didn't work after that?

So dquilon, you have the same problem, do you think all z3 compacts have the same issue? This doesn't sound right.

Ironically my previous samsung phone worked perfectly with my sony car stereo, when I got this sony phone I was happy as I was hoping for better interface with my sony car stereo.

Do you think if I get it back to the store they will accept it as faulty?

I have the same problem App remote works for about a day then the only way of getting phone to connect is by deleting and re-installing the app

Massive disappointment, i bought the stereo especially for this purpose, and it doesn't work.

And i've seen loads of similar comments about it not working

Actually i feel conned and cheated.
