Block a number

Apparently Sony doesn't have a built-in number blocking unlike other phone brands. Disappointing.

If you edit a contact in the phonebook you will see and option at the bottom called "send calls directly to voicemail".

So - when I get spam calls from all sorts of fools wanting to sell me PPI protection and other rubbish, I have to actually ADD these people to my contacts?!

Ridiculous!

I'm getting more and more disappointed with my new phone already - and I've only had it for 3 days! On top of the super-buggy 4.2 update you just gave me, this is just too stupid.

I hope you'll fix it (all of it!) SONY - and soon, or this was my first and last SONY mobile ever.

If you are not adding them to the block list, how do you do that? I dont think any phone got auto filtering.
