Backing up everything before changing the phone

Hi,

I intend to buy an Xperia Z3, but i was thinking if there's a way to backup my phone's state a port it to the new phone, including configuration, texts ...

I would recommend that you try the function "Xperia Transfer" in PC Companion to transfer your information to the new phone.

That's the main problem, because i'll sell the z1 to get the z3, i'll not be able to have both handsets to do it.

Most use 3rd party apps to backup files etc and with music and images they like myself copy and paste them to a Pc

I spoke a little hastely, i found that in pc companion, the transfer feature offers the possibility to do it using a backed up data from the computer. 

I just hope it'll work.

Personally I wouldn't trust PCC as it often says it can't restore if the firmware is different - If you do switch devices then before if possible you get rid of your older device make sure the files are able to be and have transferred

So the best thing to do is to save the internal storage as a raw data (copy/past), but still no sms or phone log will be recorded so, is there any other alternative please ?
