Avoid poor connections not available in advanced wifi menu

I have a Z1C for a few months now and I'm very happy with it. There is however one thing I am missing, the avoid poor connections in the advanced wifi menu. According to www.techview.co/2014/03/set-up-wi-fi-xperia-z1-compact it should be there, but I cannot find it, not in Android 4.4 and also not in Andoid lollipop. Is it a secret option, do I have to search elsewhere?

I've tried this app, it's a nice one! It helped me to keep my wifi oncampsite. The antenna boost function is also nice. However, it would be better if I could uncheck the option to avoid poor connections. I want control about what Android does.
