Auto rotate fault

Hi. Ive got an xperia z2 and have only had it for a week. When I first got it, everything was fine.
If I put apps such as WhatsApp or chrome in landscape, it won't revert back to portrait if I turn my phone. My solution so far is to turn auto rotate off and back on again. Would be nice to have it working as it should. Any ideas?

Can you check if chrome works fine in safe mode?
