Hi uliwooly
Staff told me that, gmail account is another way to remote factory reset my mobile.
But i didn't disclose my gmail password.
They also advice me to create a new gmail account for the mobile.
I lift the mobile for few days, if it happen again, I think they will find out the problem.
If it won't happen, maybe I should try a new gmail account.
MyXperia or Android Device Manager could reset your phone, if no one has access to your Gmail, perhaps someone has access to the email account you are using for your MyXperia?
Hi Vickyli,
If i may also suggest you to run a anti-virus or malware scan on your computer, I'm affraid that you computer may be effected with this junk(VIRUS or malware i mean).
Therefore when you create the email from your own computer, your personal info is leak such as your password. It may also be posibility of a keylogger on your computer, but i don't want to get too complicate on this. Just run a scan and see if is good.
Hi Bandolero,
I've scanned my computer and changed all the password.
Staff also mentioned about my Xperia Theft Protection.
It will Lock the mobile or erase data to keep information private.
I'm wondering is it trigger the factory reset.
Next time I think I will not activate this function.
MXTP shouldn't be activated by itself, someone must have access to the email account that you use for it to factory reset your phone.

Hi,
What @uliwooly says is true, perharps i may also suggest you to create and try to use another gmail account.
Likewise, perform a software repair and don't install any apps yet monitor for 1 or 2 days lets see if it still reset itself.
If you have an infected app on your phone that may also trigger the reset who knows. now days apps on playstore are no guarantee safe anyways like the article based on the link below.
Hi Bandolero,
Yup, I'll create a new account, and install 1 app per day, to monitor any app will trigger the reset.
