Alternative use to a Xperia M2 Aqua

Hi,

I just bought a M4 Aqua, because the earspeaker of my M2 Aqua lost contact (my own fault, he was dropped on the floor one time to many).

Anyway, i was wondering,  if i cold convert my old M2 Aqua into an android camera, in which the phone app (and other processes that use  much RAM)  can be turned off .  So i don’t just need to throw away a still good working piece of appliance.

There are myriad options, you can download apps form the play store to control the camera on your older M2 as long as it has data or wifi connection.

but are there tips, how to and which software to de-install or install?
