Hi there, so this is my situation. I recently been having a good time to a very good paradise. Making photos while swimming I use this Touch block app to make things easy when the phone is wet. Yes it was very good, I took a lot of pictures untill my phone drained all its power. Since I am on an island far from the resort, I charged my phone with a Power bank (Which I used several times) ad of course before I charged my phone I wipe it clean and dry, open the MicroSD and Charging lid just to check if did the water penetrated and found all is good and dry. Then I just left my phone there charging while Im havng a good swim.
I came back for some refreshments, I noticed my phone was charged upto 14% then its heating very much not the usual heat I ever experienced before. I quickly plugoff the charger and inspect my phone. I noticed the camera lens covered with moist inside. The phone is still operating when I turn it on, but I was unable to touch it, I mean the screen is not working. I didn't saw the Touch block app was running according to the notification bar and on the screen. I tried the bottons and it does works fine. After that I noticed the walkman was running and playing music but there was no sound, I tried to put my MDR-V55 and I can listen the music was playing at all. I tried to turn it off but I can't touched the screen. What I did was I took the Sim and put it back again just to make a restart. What happens next was annoying because it didn't fix the problem. The screen is still not functioning and the walkman is running. My first and best option was to wait untill I get home and repair my phone through PC companion. Far from home and my the battery is draining, I didn't make it my phone is all out of power.
Yeah finally I plug it on the PC and now nothing happens. It does something but not charging at all. The Notification light turns red when I plug it then some notifications on the PC that USB was connected then my Phone displays battery charging then suddenly disapprears but the red notification light is still there yet I can't do anything with it by pressing the power botton. I waited for about an hour to see a difference while it was still connected in my pc. After the waiting nothing happens, the notif light was still red and not charged at all. I plug it on a wall charger and got the same results, Charging battery appears then a just vanished instantly.I don't really know what just happen, but I feel like it has something do with the water and the touch block app that makes all the system crashed? LOL! I really don't know.
Can anyone please help me with this problem? I will really appreciate it. I was thinking now to surrender it and take a new one since it is still covered by the warranty. But I bougth this phone on Dubai and I am from Philippines it will not be easy so my last resort will be consulting you guys here or went to a local sony store.
